Ahualoa Family Farm Visit

Visit an original Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Factory, the Hamakua Coast Macadamia Nut Orchards and a coffee farm in one day. The historic building on the farm was the reason Honoka’a used to be called “The Mac Nut Capital of the World.” It was shut down in the 90’s but brought back to life by installing new macadamia nut processing equipment. Now this gem is both the oldest and the newest macadamia nut factory in Hawaii! The coffee from this farm is not Kona coffee, but it is a taste you will want to experience. Also grown on the Big Island, but on the “wet side,” our 100% Hamakua coffee is known for being unique and flavorful, with very low acidity and bitterness. A relaxing lunch will be provided at the Honokaa Country Market during the tour.
